She is kind and funny.  She is witty and charming.  She is simply a blessing to this world.  She always has a smile on her face and something positive to say.  After speaking to her, even if it’s only for a few minutes, you walk away feeling happier for some reason, like all is well and anything is possible.  She is genuinely nice and sincerely interested in finding out how you are doing after she asks.  My Grandmother used to reserve a word for amazing women like this.  The word she used was “elegant”.  My friend Beth is elegant indeed. She lights up the room with her presence and is a reliable ray of light amidst the inevitable clouds in life.  I am grateful for her. She is the wind beneath my wings and I am honored to call her my friend.
