She was the master.  She would ask…”Do you want to make a decent Christmas cookie?” And go on to tell us we need to use margarine, not butter!  Her recipe must be shared with the world.  She will be missed this Christmas.  It will not be the same without her.

Nana’s cookies

14 cups flour

1 dozen eggs well beaten

2 3/4 cup sugar

1 pint heavy cream

3 teaspoons pure vanilla

1 1/2 pound(6 sticks) margarine

14tsp baking powder

Mix eggs,sugar,heavy cream,vanilla,margarine and baking powder. Mix in flour. Refrigerate covered over night.

Bake 375 for 10 minutes
