She was a great boss. Why? Each day she operated with integrity. Thank God for me she was a teacher in her former life. She patiently taught me a skill that I use every day. I am in sales and I have been able to make a career out of selling which changed my life. Hogan’s hero’s was the name of our sales team! Each day Kathy communicated to me a compelling vision of the future I could have. She acted as a Role Model for me. She created a culture where her team accepted 100% personal responsibility and helped me build self confidence and self esteem through my work by consistently measuring my performance. Of course I had to set very specific goals in key areas for myself. She was smart because she helped each person on her team develop a written plan which tied their personal goals to the company goals. Because of her I learned to set high expectations of myself. She lovingly and willingly mentored me and the other team members helping us develop our attitudes and skills. She always looked for ways to reward success and have fun. I am so lucky I knew her and that she was my first real boss in the business world.
