Founded in 1993, MedWish International is a not-for-profit organization that saves lives and the environment by repurposing discarded medical supplies and equipment to provide humanitarian aid in developing countries.

Rescue Village

Rescue Village and The Geauga Humane Society has been performing its lifesaving work throughout Geauga County, and Northeast Ohio, for more than 30 years providing shelter, meals and medical and adoption services to all types of animals.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer. They provide critical funding for cancer research worldwide to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis and survivorship.

YWCA of Greater Cleveland

Studies have shown that within four years of emancipation from foster care, 24% of young adults have been homeless. YWCA of Greater Cleveland’s response to this data resulted in the creation of Independence Place, which offers permanent supportive housing with 23 apartments (one-third accommodating children).

Cleveland Rape Crisis Center

The vision of the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center is the elimination of sexual violence.  Their mission is to support survivors of rape and sexual abuse, promote healing and prevention and advocate for social change.

Combining shared principles at educator-led schools, Breakthrough is able to deliver a portfolio of unique, effective educational options to the Cleveland community. This nationally innovative approach is working. Their schools were recently ranked #11 nationally in reading, #16 nationally in math, and #1 overall in Ohio among 277 public school networks studied nationwide by CREDO at Stanford University (2017 Study).
